Air conditioning for a 320 m² office floor
Eight four-way cassettes for an open-plan floor and six offices, laid out around the real IT heat gain.
The brief
A 320 m² floor fitted with mismatched wall splits added over the years: over-cooled zones next to the units, 30 °C at the far end, and eight outdoor units bolted to the façade with no thought for maintenance.
Our solution
Zone-by-zone heat load including occupancy density and IT gain. Replaced with eight recessed four-way cassettes, outdoor units grouped on an accessible plant terrace, and per-zone control. The work was split across four weekends so the business never stopped.
The outcome
Temperature spread across the floor brought under 2 °C. Servicing that used to take a full day per visit now takes two hours, because every outdoor unit is in one place and reachable standing up.
